There are lots of advantages of DSL. You get a very high speed Internet connection of 384kbps up to 1.54mbps downstream and 128kbps upstream. You can talk on the phone at the same time using one phone line! They claim that you can achieve 50 times the speed of a dial-up standard modem. I believe that it's true. The best thing about this is that it's free.

Broadband will provide you with a free DSL modem if you can refer or tell ten people and they successfully sign up and download the software. You just need ten people for a $198 DSL modem! I am working really hard on doing this and not very many people sign up for it.

When you sign up, you will need to provide them with your full name, address, city, state, country, zip code, daytime phone number, and the phone number that you want the DSL to be set up on. You also need to provide them your e-mail address, the password you want, the connection you use for the web, and a little bit about your computer. That's all the information that you need to give them! Please take note that you have to be at least 18 years old to open an account. If you aren't 18, then have a parent open it up for you. I know it's really hard to do that, but it's worth it.

You don't have to pay a nickel to have DSL. They will provide free installation and free hardware if you get ten referrals by the end of April this year. You will only have to pay for the DSL modem if you can't get those referrals, and you will have to pay for other services if they apply to you. You may have to pay your phone company because of a request. I don't know about it yet because I have been billed. The free service speed will be 144k downstream and I think 56k up stream.

A lot of people ask, "How do they provide us with a free service?" The answer to that question is very simple. They will display an advertisement banner on your screen. Don't worry, that won't affect your connection speed, you have a super-fast one connected to them. There are lots of free Internet providers out there that will give you free Internet access while they display an ad-banner. That will make your connection really slow because it will decrease the bandwidth of your connection speed.

If you decide that you want to pay for a better service, this is the best service you can get! You can use free 144k with banner, 144k for $10 a month with no banner, 384k for $20 a month with no banner, and finally, 1.544mbps (1,544k) for $35 a month with no banner.
